Cedabond Members Spreading Goodwill in Difficult Times
30 April 2020
A number of Cedabond Members have been working hard to support communities during the coronavirus pandemic.
While it can feel as though the news nowadays is full of doom and gloom, we wanted to spread some positivity by reminding you of the work many people and companies are doing to help local communities during the pandemic.
Many of the Cedabond family are those who are helping out, please see below some wonderful examples.
JLA have donated their spare PPE to a number of care homes and a local hospice. They have also donated a freezer to the Sunderland Community Soup Kitchen and loaned an additional oven to Angelina’s Restaurant in London who have repurposed their restaurant as a soup kitchen to support the homeless.
Chiller Box have donated lots of small wares to the North London Community Consortium who are helping to feed NHS staff and nurseries at their local North Middlesex Hospital. They have also arranged donations of equipment from Parry & RH Hall, all of which have been gratefully received.
Swift Catering Equipment have been 3D printing face shields and mask clips for NHS hospitals through Essex and London, they have been supplying these free of charge for our front line workers. They have provided hundreds for the NHS, and are also working with other individuals in their area to deliver as many as possible to the wards.
We are sure there are many more of our wonderful Members and Suppliers who are spreading goodwill during these tough times so we wanted to say thank you to you all, and thank you for allowing us to share some positive news!
We hope you all keep safe and well.
