Cedabond Members & Suppliers Win Big at Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week 2020

Catering Insight and Foodservice Equipment Journal hosted a special digital awards week to celebrate the outstanding efforts of catering equipment distributors and suppliers in this unprecedented year.
The Kitchen & Equipment Awards Week 2020, held digitally from 30th November to 4th December, was a fantastic way of celebrating the best of the best in the industry - especially during these turbulent times.
Cedabond Members & Suppliers did incredibly well, scooping up an amazing nine awards between them!
From our Suppliers, Mechline Developments came away with not one but two awards! They won the Supplier of the Year: Light Equipment award, which recognises a supplier who has brought an innovative piece or range of light equipment to the UK market this year; and the Supplier of the Year: Sustainability, rewarding a supplier which is championing environmental product development and energy efficient products.
Foster Refrigerator & Gamko UK scooped Supplier of the Year: Business Development award, which recognises manufacturers that have excelled in developing distributor sales and growing their company.
From our Members, Vision Commercial Kitchens also won two awards! They won the Distributor of the Year: Nationwide award which celebrates the distributors that have completed complex and prestigious work to the highest standard, up and down the country; and the Distributor of the Year: Corporate Social Responsibility (for the second year in a row!), recognising a UK dealer which is an outstanding corporate citizen – either for fundraising for good causes, giving serious consideration to sustainability, or looking after their own team to a high standard.
Lloyd Catering Equipment won Digital Initiative of the Year award, which recognises those distributors who have really embraced the digital medium and are pushing technology forward.
C&C Catering Equipment scooped the Distributor of the Year – North of the UK award, which encompasses dealers in the north of England, and across Scotland and Northern Ireland, who have battled through and managed to shine in 2020.
Gratte Brothers Catering Equipment won the Distributor of the Year – South of the UK award, rewarding an outstanding dealer in either the south of England or across Wales.
And finally, The Outstanding Service to the Industry award which honours an individual who has really gone above and beyond the call of duty in a long career within this industry, went to Mark Drazen from Caterware - so very well deserved!
We would like to thank Catering Insight and Foodservice Equipment Journal for hosting this digital awards week - we hope next year we will be able to attend the awards ceremony in person!
