IMC (Imperial Machine Company)
Unit 1 Abbey Road
Imperial Machine Company (IMC) has been engineering catering solutions for more than 110 years. We have designed, installed and supported catering products for foodservice operations for generations; a fact we at IMC are immensely proud of.
We pride ourselves on our ability to provide bespoke solutions to our customers. We don’t compromise on design; we don’t have to. With recent company investments of nearly £700,000 to our manufacturing facility, we have strengthened our ability to supply our customers with continually evolving product ranges, designed to meet the demanding modern catering environment.
Evolving product designs and increased production demand has led to a massive review of our manufacturing techniques which has led to reduced product lead times. This has enabled IMC to maintain our flexibility, continue to react to the customer’s needs immediately whilst also increasing production and growing the business.
You don’t spend a century in this business without picking up a few things along the way. In fact, that’s what sets IMC apart. Not our history or longevity, it’s the knowledge and integrity of our staff combining to deliver flexible solutions for the catering industry.
A range of Food waste management, waste processing units and in vessel composters help to deliver the greenest possible solution to customers food waste problems.
A range of food waste disposers from 0.5kw to 4kw is the core of the range but we also manufactur food waste dewaterers and packaging waste compactors.
2 ranges, Bartender & F2, enable bars, clubs and restaurant owners to ergonomically equip their bar staff to serve drinks in the most efficient way, there is also a 3D design software package to help lay out the bar.
The Mistral and Hurricane ranges of bottle coolers, the top loading BM range and glass Frostars complement the bar offering, helping make IMC-specified bars some of the most stylish and best performing you will find.
This is where IMC first started in 1906, today we concentrate on vegetable peeling and potato chipping and offer a complete suite of equipment for the chip shop.
Because we manufacture and design in house we are able to offer a significant level of adaptation to ensure that a customer gets what they need to make their premises the best they can be. For instance, food waste recycling units, potato tanks, and individual bar units are regularly made on a “one–off basis” specifically to meet a customer’s needs and, with over 150 standard wiring looms and many electric motor variants available ex-stock, we are normally able to offer the customer exactly what they need wherever they are in the world on land or sea.
We are proud of our designs, our products, and our quality.
