Carlton Services was formed as a Refrigeration company in 1978 by Gary Carlton and has grown to offer further services of Air Conditioning, Catering Equipment, Kitchen Extraction, Ventilation and Heat Pump Servicing, Repairs & Installations. Our focus is on workmanship, combined with technical expertise and rapid response, ensuring that our clients needs always remain paramount.

Now under the leadership of Adam Carlton, who joined as an apprentice in 2003, and supported by many long standing engineers and office staff, the company has a wealth of experience in this sector and has retained its strong reputation for the supply of products and services to a consistently high level of quality, and great support from initial contact right through to job completion. Refrigeration

Carlton Services is an experienced refrigeration specialist company who service not only blue-chip companies in the private and government sector but also smaller shops, restaurants and food outlets. Under the management of Lee, who joined the company aged 16, the department benefits from his 30+ years of experience in the trade and at this company, ensuring that our core values are adhered to at all times.

Carlton Services offer service, maintenance, sales and installations from our hand picked and fully trained team of technicians. Our services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Further services include free quotations for service and maintenance contracts and new installation projects.

Whether your refrigeration equipment requires a routine service, or it requires immediate attention, our engineers have a wide range of multi fit parts on the vans to ensure a fast turn around on repairs. Where repairs cannot be carried out at the first attempt, we will ensure the parts are ordered swiftly and correctly to ensure your refrigeration equipment is never down for too long.

Working on a wide range of equipment from bottle coolers to ice machines, walk in coldrooms and even commercial water chillers, you can be sure that Carlton Services have the necessary knowledge and experience to assist whatever the issue may be.

We offer installation of new coldrooms, cellar cooling equipment and process chillers for factories, as well as the supply of many different makes of commercial refrigeration cabinets.

All of our refrigeration engineers are City & Guilds trained and have also completed the most up to date Safe Handling of Refrigerants training. We are also registered waste carriers for old refrigerants and oils removed from site. The method to reclaim and the destruction of refrigerants is closely monitored by F Gas certification.

Carlton Services experience in air conditioning dates back a long way, so if your computer room is too hot, there are uncomfortable working conditions, or your restaurant is getting too warm then let us solve the problem for you. We supply, install, service & maintain a high-quality range of air conditioning equipment.

We have been certified to install Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning for many years now and our engineers attend the latest training courses every year, our partnership with Mitsubishi Electric can give you up to 7-year warranty on the parts, provided a maintenance programme is carried out on the equipment.

We offer free site surveys for new installations and also for maintenance contracts and our emergency call out is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

All of our engineers are City & Guilds trained and have the latest qualifications in the Safe Handling of Refrigerants and any usage is monitored closely to F Gas regulations.

Carlton Services catering equipment engineers are fully conversant with market leading equipment manufactures and are also Rational Trained to ensure your equipment is in safe hands. Managed by Aaron, who joined from Hobart in 2022, the department makes the most of his 30+ years in this trade and his strong electrical background.

Starting with Food Preparation, right the way to Prime Cooking Equipment and Warewashing. We offer the complete service for catering equipment; one off emergency callouts, routine preventative maintenance contracts and installations of new equipment along with annual Gas Safe Safety Inspections. Carlton Services are Gas Safe registered, as are all of our engineers, and this ensures that our hand-picked team of fully trained technicians are kept up to date with the latest changes in regulations and attend the latest training courses to ensure your kitchen is in safe hands.

Domestic & Commercial Heat Pumps

Carlton Services provide a range of heat pump services to domestic & commercial customers, from routine service to new installation, we are able to assist you.

We are certified for Mitsubishi Electric Ecodan installations & servicing, meaning that you get Carlton Services professional & technical approach, combined with market leading supplier back up. We attend the latest training courses to ensure that our engineers are fully conversant with the latest technology.

Whilst we are agents for Mitsubishi Electric, that doesn’t mean that we can’t service & repair other makes of equipment. We have accounts set up with numerous suppliers to ensure that no matter what make of heat pump you have, if parts are required and available, we can get them.

We have extensive experience working on heat pumps from many brands, however we are not a heating & plumbing company, as such if the heat pump is generating heat and the issue is with the water circuit then a plumber will be required, we work closely with a plumbing company to ensure that we can meet your every need but this part of the job is sub-contracted out.

We have engineers on call 24/7, 265 days a year so you can be sure that we are ready when you need us.
