Bringing together more than 30 Members and Suppliers, the first Cedabond Distributor Day took place last Thursday 2nd December, hosted by First Choice in Cannock.

The one-day event, held at the First Choice Group facility, saw dealers and distributors come together to share best practice, identify new business, network with colleagues and industry counterparts, understand the latest from Cedabond and speak with Suppliers including EPAS, Foster, Jestic, MKN and Maidaid.

The day saw delegates divided into groups, with each group spending time in three Supplier areas – cooking, with Jestic and MKN – refrigeration, with Foster – warewashing, with Maidaid and EPAS. The groups rotated throughout the day to ensure delegates could speak to each Supplier.

Making use of the dedicated First Choice Group training, conference and event facilities, the Cedabond Distributor Day also included lunch in the on-site restaurant and concluded with an optional tour of the facilities.

Commercial Director Mark Kendall reported: “The event yesterday was a great success with our current Members and new ones joining us to get the opportunity of a deep dive into products and services provided by our much valued and diverse supplier portfolio. Members got to see new products and new ways to market their unique services to their individual end users.

“First Choice is a great central location with excellent facilities and the team delivered a fantastic day.”

Looking ahead, he added: “We will continue to drive this initiative forward with our upcoming much-awaited Innovation Day Live on 28th April 2022, where Members and Suppliers will interact on a larger scale with a networking dinner in the evening.”

Cedabond’s Distributor Days are set to become a quarterly event in 2022.
